Director, Marketing Management | Prudential Financial | Scranton, PA

Manages professional and support staff. May be responsible for one or
more specialized areas or for activities related to specific products.
Responsible for planning and implementation of projects or marketing
activities supporting objectives for revenue, volume, profit, customer
satisfaction, retention, etc. Develops objectives and strategies as well
as monitors performance for specialized programs. Responsible for
reporting results and producing reports for decision makers. Typically
reports to a Marketing Vice President. Experienced marketer,
administrator and project manager.
Skills required:
- Proven management skills as demonstrated through results achieved and
scope of responsibility in previous positions
- Well developed and effective oral and written communication skills
Strong presentation ability
- Knowledge of qualified retirement plans, business process and
financial products, i.e., mutual funds, group annuities
- Demonstrated ability to partner with internal and external business
partners and clients
- Good team player and strong interpersonal skills, high energy and
comfort in a fast-paced environment of change
- Demonstrated knowledge regarding FINRA Principal activities
- Proven management skills in leading and implementing strategic
initiatives in a retirement plan environment
- Experience dealing with creative professionals and ability to give
clear and effective direction
- Knowledge of the creative development process and print and/or video
production
- Ability to effectively analyze and manage large budgets and business
metrics
- Proven capability to create and deliver management reports tied to
business metrics
Qualifications:
- College Degree (B.A. or B.S.) required
- Advanced Degree preferred
- 7-10 years Marketing and Communication experience or equivalent
- Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, Non-Qualified plan experience
- Series 6 & 63 licensing required
- Series 26 within 120 days of hire
- Some travel may be required
